ECMAScript 5, the language that powers the JavaScript scripting language only supports the prototypical inheritance model, feature that gives JavaScript very increased versatility and is one of the reasons JavaScript has seen such success.
Unfortunately this means JavaScript can be used in simple code structures, not being able to handle large-scale enterprise applications. And if this would be possible, code maintainability would require much of the staff's working time.
zoe.js simply adds support for multiple inheritance inside JavaScript's core, supporting class (object) inheritance without breaking the old prototypal inheritance model.
In simpler terms, this means complicated OOP code structures will be possible with JavaScript, allowing much more complex applications to be built.
zoe.js works with client-side (browsers) and server-side (Node.js) environments.
